We specialize in the odd, the unusual, and the fantastic! Come experience the fun, unique vibe in our shop full of ever-changing vintage finds. With over 70 vendors and rooms stuffed to the rafters with furniture, vintage & handcrafted jewelry, toys, Pyrex, oddities and more, you are sure to find something that fits your style.

Collectibles

We offer nearly 15,000 square feet of antique, vintage, and retro everything: apparel, artwork, barware, clocks and watches, collectibles, decorative, furniture, kitchen, jewelry, lamps and lighting, mid-century modern, military and nautical, tableware, and more. 

Threads

We have carefully curated a collection of vintage clothing spanning from the 1920s to the 1990s. Our collection includes dresses, skirts, blouses, jackets, and much more. Each piece is unique and tells a story of its own.

About The Birdsnest

The Birdsnest is a locally owned vintage and antique marketplace in Modesto, California, created from a love of unique finds, beautiful old things, and the stories they carry.

Owners Nathan and Michael opened The Birdsnest with the vision of creating a welcoming place where collectors, decorators, and treasure hunters could come together to discover something special. Inside the shop you’ll find a carefully curated mix of vintage décor, antiques, collectibles, glassware, furniture, handmade goods, and one-of-a-kind pieces from a community of talented vendors.

The Birdsnest isn’t just a store — it’s an ever-changing experience. With dozens of vendors bringing in new items daily, every visit offers something different to explore. We also love bringing the community together through our Outdoor Market events, where local vendors, artists, and collectors fill the space with vintage goods, handmade creations, food, and fun.
